The Board of Control of the Indiana boys* school, at its regular meeting on May 3, on being informed of the splendid aid given the institution on the occasion of its stable fire on April 29 by the fire department of Plainfield and by numerous citizens of that town, went on record as tendering a formal vote of thanks to be expressed through the public press of Plainfield. The evidence of good will and neighborliness manifested in this substantial manner by the fire department and citizens aforementioned is highly appreciated and this token of gratefulness is hereby extended.
