E, White, of Cincinnati, (late president of Purdue University, this state,) ^father of Mr, White, principal of the Albion schools. This address was well received and is universally acknowledged to be a very able one, showing the speaker to be thoroughly conversant with his subject, and able‘to clothe bis thoughts in the choicest language. Taken all in all the exercises were a complete success throughout.
