Just as it begau to descend Prof. Perry pulled the pin ami made the perilous jump. The parachute spread beautifully, an - came down nicely until near the ground, when the Professor was dashed ugainst the telegraph wire and was knocked insensible for a few moments, when he recovered. The parachutecaine near falling into the river. We are glad that the Professor escaped with his life, and wish him better luck in Kufauln.
