MRS. CAROLINE CASEY. The death of this long-afflicted woman was briefly announced in last week’s impression of the Cou rier. She was the widow of George Casey, and for the last eight years had been a confirmed invalid, the re sult of an injury to her hip received in a fall. She was the mother of Mrs. Phares formerly of this place, now of Amelia. Deceased was a woman of refined tastes and rare accomplishments, a gentle Christian woman, sustained and soothed in her sufferings by the faith that giv eth hope and peace. Though un able to move about she was by no means without companionship, be ing lovingly attended by relatives and daily visited by many friends. She was a member of the Episcopal church from early life, and her fu neral services, by Rev. E. Burdsall, were conducted under the torms of the Church. Her remains were in terred in Spring Grove by the side of her husband, who died in 1885. She leaves two daughters, two sis ters and four grandchildren. =
