Mr. Spencer is a Democrat and is a-k-hig for the nomination at the hands of Ins party, lie is a native of Missouri, a self-made man, for lie does not n member of having seen his father, who died while the son was very small. Mr.Spencer came from Crawford county, Ark., to this part of the Cherokee nation seven years ago. He is now living on one of A. P. Seabolt’s farms in the Black Jack neighborhood. If the people want a man whe will dis charge the duties of constable, without fear or lavova, Mr. Spencer says he can promise them that he is the man.
