CHARLIE PARHAM JR.Charlie “Man” Parham Jr., a resident of Chicago Heights, and welder for Thrall Car, died Monday, March 8, in Chicago.Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Portland Street Church of God in Christ, Chicago Heights, with Bishop Goodwin officiating. Interment will be in Mount Glenwood Memory Gardens.Visitation will be from noon until 7 p.m. Friday at Robert McCullough Funeral Home, Ford Heights, and from 10:30 a.m. until time of services Saturday at the church.Mr. Parham was born Jan. 8,1940, in Panola, Ala. He was a member of the Masons.He is survived by his wife, Laura; three daughters, Cassie and Tasha, both of Chicago Heights, and Patricia of Chicago; two sons, Michael of Chicago Heights and Howard of Robbins; five sisters, Marie Smith, Gussie Parham, Maziel Morgan, all of Alabama, Lizzie Smith of Chicago, and Rosemary Jones of Brooklyn, N.Y.; three brothers, Howard, C.L., and Jerry Parham, all of Panola, Ala.; and one grandchild.
