Tuesday ‘in the Precinct. 1. club house, 5012 West. 50th St. A. program ond jewelry . design will be presented by Mrs. Billy Everton from the Education’ De partment at Texas Tech. Visitors and area residents are invited to attend. A door prize of rock jewelry will be awarded and refreshments will be served. The club is accepting new mem bers and is welcoming Mrs. Ada line Burleson, Dr. Ben Hutchin son, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd McNabb and Jerry Gorman. A picture of a white peacock painted in white on a natural background is being made as a club project. Mrs. Roscoe Thom as of Olton is the chairman of the club project committee and is directing the project. A new display cases under construction by Mason A. Kester, 3101 Bates St. The case will house the club's display at the Texas Federation of Mineral Societies, Inc., show in Amarillo, May 3-5. The Lubbock club placed first in the state with its 1962 entry.
