Willam HAUSBERG, 7439 Coles ave., warrant officer in the army ordnance department, visited home folks recently on his way from Camp Young, Cal.,. to the east coast... . Mrs. Louis Pick, 6819 Jeffery ave., entertained 16 friends recently with a luncheon and ecards. Ree HEITZ AND JUNE PAR KER, of Hirsch high school, Elizabeth Cline and Sue Spalding of Hyde Park high school and Dorothy Shaw of South Shore high school, recently gave a con cert in the Faulkner School for Girls, 4746 Dorchester ave. . Charlene Donna Sill, 1552 E. 75th st, recently had her tonsils re moved in Jackson Park hospital. Her parents are Mr. and Mrs. C. D. Sill... Corp Walter A. Trapp, who left Monday for Camp Bowie, Tex., after spending a 14-day furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar R. Trapp, 7840 Constance ave., was honored at three parties recently. Lt. Com. Francis D. Malloy, 8754 Langley ave., stationed with the navy medical corps in the Southwest Pacific, has re turned to his ship after a short leave at his home. Commander Malloy, who enlisted in the navy in August, 1941, was helping evacuate wounded from the Sal mon Islands when he was granted leave. M Rs. AND MRS. PAUL BURNS, 7232 Coles ave., entertained for Robert Dean Webb and his fiancee, Jody Madix, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Madix, 6813 Stony Island ave., recently in the South Shore Country club, Tist st. and the lake. Mr. Webb, son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Webb, 7106 Stony Island ave., left Mon day for army training at Camp Grant. He is a graduate of Hirsch high school and Wilson City col lege. Mrs. Halla is the former Ade line Beatrice Borke. . . . Mr. and Mrs. S. D. Silverstrom, 2011 Clyde ave., recently noted their 25th wedding anniversary.
