Mrs. Mary McKay, widow of the late Alexander McKay, died on July 24th at Sioux Falls. S. I)., where she has resided since 1912. the cause of death being tehronic myocarditis from which she has been a sufferer the past six months.Mrs. McKay's maiden name was Mary Tobin. She was born on December 25, 1945, in County Kilkenny, Ireland, and tune to America at the age of tight years with her parents, residing in Wisconsin. She came to Winneshiek county in 18d3 anil was married to Alexander McKay in Decorah. Her home was here until about ten years ago when she moved to Chicago and made her home with her son W|H. They removed to Sioux Falls six years later. She is survived by her sons B. *T. McKay of De corah. W. W. McKay, oI Sioux Falls, and her step-son Fred McKay, of Wnu coma. The remains were brought to Decorah on Monday last by her son Will and the funeral was held Tuesday morning at St. Reendict's church, Rev. J. Ha we officiating. Interment was made in the Cat hoik cemetery. Those present for the funeral from out of town were the deceased's brothers Mike Tobin, and wife, and Frank Tobin, her nephew and niece Will and Margaret Tobin, all of Madison. S. D.. and Fred McKay and family of Wauconta. Mrs. McKay was a Woman of kind heart, devoted to her family. In her death the family have the sympathy of m^tny friends.
