Antillass Feted On 25th AnniversaryMr. and Mrs. Aner Antilla commemorated their twenty-fifth (silver) wedding anniversary with an impressive party held Sunday from 5 to 8 p. m. at the Sunday bake Gun Club in Wakefield. The club rooms were decorated in streamers of pink and white, tied with numerous silver bells in clusters. The lovely buffet luncheon table was centered with a three tiered cake, decorated in silver bells and topped with a sliver “25” motif. The cake was flanked with beautiful arrangements of garden flowers.Mrs. Ted Golembeski cut and served the wedding cake; the gifts were in charge of Miss Naomi Jarvi and Mrs. Peter Valesano and Mrs. Richard Valesano presided at the pouring. The couple were presented with many lovely gifts. Lunch was served to 30o guests.Mrs. Antilla wore a blue sheer dress with complimentary accessories and pinned a corsage of deep red roses tied in silver to her shoulder. Mr. wore a matching red rose boutonnier.Hostesses for the event were the daughters Miss Charlene and Miss Grace, Miss Jarvi, assisted by Mrs. Peter Valesano, Mrs. Anton Vale-sano, Mrs. Richard Valesano, Mrs. Carl Valesano, Mrs. Ted Golembeski, and Mrs. William Artwich.Out of town guests included Mr. and Mrs. Graff of Missouri and numerous relatives and friend* from the entire Gogebic range and Mar-eniscoThe couple were married in the rectory of the Immaculate Conception church of Wakefield on June 25, 1932 with the Rev. Pr. Kronin Flynn officiating. They have made their home here since that time. Mrs. Antilla was the former Mary Valesano. The couple have three children. Miss Charlene, Registered nurse, Miss Grace, Licensed Practical Nurse, both are working at the Divine Infant Hospital; and a son Gary. Mr. Antilla has been em-ploed at the Sunday Lake Mine for the past 20 years. The family resides at 1614 Putnam Street.
