Ralph D. Tompkins, the one legged man who is walking from NewYork to Florida, and of whom wereported some time ago, of his intention to touch at this city on hislong jaunt, arrived in Charleston(last Saturday. It is said that MrTompkins expects to reach the endof his journey some time in theearly fall. The fete of coVerniugthe above distance is to be accoplished in one hundred days.
