HE SPOKE OUT IN CHURCH.And Next Morning Ue Received n SoundThrashing.Sturgis, Mich., June 22.—When the trustees of St. John’s German Lutheran church decided to repair the old edifice instead of building a nice new one, several members were indignant. Among the number who 9aid it was unfit to repair and they would put no money into it were Assistant Postmaster Will Jorn and his brothers Henry and Fred. Theodore Strohpagel, a butcher, thought they needed calling down, anddid so in church by saying that Fred Jorn, who is in very poor health, drove a fine horse and carriage which were undoubtedly unpaid for or mortgaged. Henry and Fred arose at 4 a. m., and half an hour later Henry had paid Strohpagel the first mortgage on the outfit with his fists, until he howled for mercy.CHICAGO PRODUCE MARKEt.
