I Obituary.Prom a special correspondent,iMable, oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Orner, of Washta, Xa., died at her home Wednesday evening, June 14,181)9.A little more than two weeks be-foi e she died she was stricken with bi.iin trouble (cerebrites) which resulted finally in her death.During her sickness she was a great sufferer. Everything possible was done that could be done in the way of medical skill and good nuising tokeep Mable with as, bat t« no avail. Her work was done, and he* young life was to come to a close. Death claimed her for bit own, and the soul wended its way to the God who gave it. She exchanged her home on earth for her home in Heaven. She left loved ones here to join loved ones in the better world. There is a vacant chair and a voice that is bushed in the home that can never be replaced. But what is our loss is Heaven’s gain. Mable was a good girl, loved and respected by all who knew her. Those who knew her best loved her most. She was converted and joined the Methodist church almost twa years ago. Her place was nearly always tilled in the Sunday school.The funeral services were held from the house Friday, June 16, 1899, at 11:00 a. m„ Rev. 0. F. Chaittiek, of Lake View, officiating. After a short service at the grave her body was laid to rest beside two other children of Mr. and Mrs. Orner in the beautiful cemetery at Correctionville.The bereft family have the sympathy of the community, but while we can only sympathise God alone can comfort and one day we shall understand more perfctly than we do now God’s deal-| ingn with humanity.Mable was born Sept. 4, 1884, at Correctionville, Woodbury county, la. Moved with her parents to Waahta, la. in October 1891. Died as above stated June 14, 1899. At the time of her death she was 15 years, 9 months and 10 days old.
