Mardella L. SilcoxMardella L. Silcox, a resident of Monee, died Monday, June 15, at Olympia Fields Osteopathic Hospital and Medical Center.A service will be at 11 a.m. today at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Monee, with the Rev. Robert Hurst officiating. Interment will be in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Monee.Mardella Silcox was bom April 23, 1924, in Monee. She was a homemaker; a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Monee, and its Women’s Fellowship; Eastern Will County Senior Services of Monee; and Senior Friends of Olympia Fields Hospital.She is survived by her husband, Lester “Lefty” of Monee; three daughters, Beverly (Ron) Christensen of Frankfort, Karen (Rich) Rehberg of Lakeland, Fla., and Verna Nelson of Monee; a brother, August Hohmann Jr. of Manhattan; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildrenMemorials may be made to Monee Paramedics, St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, or Eastern Will County Senior Services.Arrangements were handled by Fedde-Helfrich Chapel, Peotone.
