4 Area Federal A viationA gency Employees HonoredRalph Hottman, air traffic supervisor of Chicago presented length of sendee awards to four area people this week.All are employes of the federal aviation agency. They are Clarence E. Pedersen, 285 Andrene lane, Itasca; Ge.orge C. Zambo, 114 S. School, Mt. Prospect; Alfred C. Tillotson, 738 Graceland St., Des Plaines and Walter E. Hoffman, 1601 X.. Chicago ave.. Arlington Heights.Pedersen entered the employ of the Federal Aviation Agency in January 1946 after two and one half years service with the Navy in World War II. He started working for the Installation Engineering Section as a field engineer installing a i r navigational facilities. For the past two years he has been the Electronic Installation Area Supervisor for Northern Illinois and the State of Wisconsin. He resides in Itasca, Illinois.9Zambo was* employed at Port Clinton, Ohio Air Traffic Communications Station from March 11, 1946 to January 5, 1947, transferrerd to the Milwaukee Air Traffic Control Tower from January 7, 1947 to April 30, 1949 and. to the O’Hare Air Traffic Control Tower on May 1, 1949 to the present time.Hoffman was with the U. From Sept. 1946 to Febru- jary 1950 he was with the U. S. Engineers Dept, of the Army Public Works Office at Chicago, 111. From February 1950 to August 1956 he was with the Dept, of Navy at Naval Ord., Forest Park and Great Lakes, 111.From AugUvSt 1956 to the present date he has been with the Airport Engineer, Federal Aviation Agency, Chicago, Illinois.Tillotson entered military service with the U. S. Air Force, February 1943 to March 1946. In November 1946 he joined the Federal Aviation Agency at Indianapolis, Indiana, transferred to Ft. Wayne, Ind. in April 1947, October 1950 to Akron. Canton, Ohio, April 1951 to Evansville, Ind. and Ft.
