Is Said to Be Adrian Harris and Guilty of Many/€Murders*[UNITED PRESS DISPATCH 1WINNIPEG, Man,, June 17—A man charged; wjth being the strangler-murderer,” who willed a woman and girl in Winnipeg about a week ago and wl|o is believed by authorities to be responsible for many of the strangler murders in the United States, was in jail here today.He gave the name of Earl Nelson and today will be formally charged with the murders of 14 year old LolaCowan and Mrs. Emily Patterson.Nelson was captured in the remote part of lt;Manitoba near the little town of Killarney yesterday. Almost 1,000 farmers—aided by a train load of armed guards from Winnipeg, had searched thru the underbrush for more than 12 hours after Nelson had escaped from the Killarney jail.He Anally was cornered and surrounded without great opposition.Police announced today that Nelson had been positively identified as Adrian Harris, the man sought in connection a number of murders in the United States.
