Fell in the Sewer.What came near being a very serious accident was when a youngman by the name of Reed, who lives up about St. Bernice, drove his horse into one of the trenches for connecting the catch basins at 4th and Mullberry streets last Saturday night about 10 o'clock. He and his girl were driving along south on Fourth street, and seeing the red lights they supposed danger was just where the lights were, he started to drive around the Roberts corner when the horse went headlong into the trench. It took several men quite awhile to get the horse out. There was no serious harm done, save the break, ing up of the harness, it seems that the accident was not the fault of any particular party or parties.
