Mrs. S. S. Ragsdale, 89, a resi dent for many years at Walnut Springs, died on Wednesday, May 25, in a nursing home at Hamilton. She was the mother of S. E. Ragsdale, of Clifton. Born in Louisville, Kentucky, Mrs. Ragsdale was a member of the Walnut Springs Baptist Church. Left to survive Mrs. Ragsdale are four sons, Robert Ragsdale, of Abilene, Wayne Ragsdale, of Cleburne, S. E. Ragsdale, of Clif ton, and R. G. Ragsdale, of Hamilton: two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Pate, of Brownwood, and Mrs. Ada Deason, of Glen Rose: two sisters, Mrs. Dode Lackey, of Wichita Falls, and Mrs. Mary Blair, of San Antonio; eight grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 3:00 o'clock on Thursday after noon, May 26, at the First Bap tist Church in Walnut Springs and were conducted by the pas tor, Reverend Lester Morriss. Pallbearers were Leo Finley, Al Pierson, Bill Huffman, Al bert Polnae, H. G. Morrison, and Walker Pullin, of Walnut Springs. Interment followed in the Wal nut Springs Cemetery.
