Original Notice.Frank Chapman, and Frank Chapman, Guar dmn of Mark Chapman, Walter Chapman Frank Chapman Jr. Edward Chapman and Pearl Chapman, Plaintiffs, against Unknown Claimants of Lots land 2. of Blocks in the city o Atlantic. Iowa and Bertua Luelit, Defendants. In the District Court of Cass County, |Iowa, August Term, 1893,To Said Defendants:You are hereby notified that the petition of the Plaintiffs in the above entitled cause lias •been liled in the office of the Clerk of the District Court of the State of Iowa in and for Cass County. Claiming that about December 28,1878, one Ferdinand Brown died intestate in Cass County, Iowa, being at the time of his death the owner of the above described premises, that said Brown has left his only heirs, his wife, Caroline, and the defendants herein that the said Caroline Brown on the death of her husband took possession of said premises, claiming to be the sole owner thereof, as sole heir of her husband, that said Caroline Brown intermarried with one Pirrow and afterward aoout December 28,1888, conveyed said premises by Warranty deed to.Fannie Chapman, wife of Plaintiff, and ino;her of his said wards. That Plaintiff and his said wards are the sole and only heirs of s^id Fannie Chapmau, who purchased said premises, believing the said Caroline Pirrow-to be the sole owner thereof; that the possession of saidpremsies ever since the death of said Ferdinand Brown has been In the said Caroline his wife the said Fannie Chapman, and the Plaintiff and his wards, and has been open notorious and adverse to the Interest of any other person therein; and that by reason thereof the plaintiff asks that the title of himselt and his said wards be quieted against the Defendants herein and that all other equitable relief be granted.You are also not!lied that unless you appear thereto and defend before noori of the second day of August term, A.
