The preliminary hearing of J. B. Hillson, of Louisville, was heard te n for Squire Joseph H. Feller last Mon day at the court house on a charge of possessing stills and devices for manu facturing liquor. He was recognized to court and his bond was fixed at $1,000. Robert Williams and H. E. Dyer, signed the bond with Mr. Hill son. Mr. Hillson seems to have had a spot of land on the Ohio river leas ed of Joseph Williams, and a building was erected for a place of amusement. The Prohibition officers raided the place and found some large stills. No one was in possession of the place when the stills were found but affidavits were filed here against sev eral parties and Mr. Hillson was one off them. Learning that an affidavit had been filed against him he came here from Louisville and gave a bond for his appeals #t the preliminary trial, t ,
