By Miss Esther Lawrence Mrs. Frank Lehman and _= —=son, Robert, and sister, Miss Nellie Fickes,, of 316 Radcliffe Street, will spend two weeks with a brother at Glen Falls, N. Y. Mrs. Gibson Fickes, who has been ill for several weeks at her daugh ter’s home, 316 Radcliffe Street, left Bristol on Tuesday for her home at Newport. Mrs. Fickes was accom panied by her grandson, Robert Lehman. Rev. Henry M. Hartmann was the overnight guest on Thursday of last week with friends in Strouds burg. Pierre Nilis spent three days last week at his home in Stroudsburg. Misses Pearl and Verna Mass, of 528 Locust Street, will return to morrow after a week’s visit to Cape May. Mrs. James Webb, of Philadelphia, spent the week-end with her par ents, Mr. and Mrs. William Pursell, of Washington Street. Misses Marie and Marion Cauley, of 339 Cedar Street, are spending the summer with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Cauley, of Dan boro. Mrs. Hubert Crowther, spent a few days this week at Doylestown visit ing her daughter, Mrs. Stover. On Saturday morning last Mr. and Mrs. Malpas Ardrey and two chil dren, in company with another family, left Bristol to attend the “Victorious Life Conference” which is being held at Stony Brook, Long Island. The male members of the party went by auto, while the women and girls went by train. Mrs. Asa Fabian will accompany her daughter, Miss Bessie, tomorrow, to Phillipsburg, N. J., where Miss Bessie will spend a week with Miss Isabel Moore, formerly of Bristol. On Monday Mrs. Fabian will go to Nazareth where she will spend the remainder of the week and return home with Miss Bessie. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Harrison ,and family, of Ocean Grove; Mr. and Mrs. LD. Harrison, of Trenton, were the week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. George Ardrey, of 623 Radcliffe Street. Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Balzer and Robert Price, all of Rutherford, spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Winterstein. Miss Ruth Albertson, of Philadel phia, who has been spending two weeks with her aunt, Mrs. Harry Clayton, of 202 Mill Street, returns to her home tomorrow. Mr. and Mrs. E. Lukemire, of Trenton, spent several days last week as the guest of Mrs. Luke mire’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Warner, of 320 Lafayette Street. Misses Helen and Jane Webb, of Burlington, recently spent four days with Mr. and Mrs. Isaac F. Webb, of 338 Penn Street. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Smith, of Frankford, were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. William Smith, of 500 Pond Street. Mrs. Lewis Highland, of Pond Street, is spending two weeks in Sea Girt, N. J. Master Hubert Crowther, of Philadelphia, and Miss Harriet Stover, of Doylestown, returned to their homes on Tuesday after spend ing a month with their grandpar ents, Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Crowther, of Walnut Street. Vincent Murphy, of Eddington, spent last week with his aunt, Miss Nellie Murphy, of 504 Pond Street. Harry Eckert another nephew, of Eddington, is the guest now for one week. Harry H. Benfer, of Elkins Park, spent the week-end with his broth er, Frank Benfer, and sister, Mrs. Fanny Wright, of 502 Pond Street. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Foree and daughter, Helen, Misses Martha and Elizabeth Force, all of Burlington, will be the week-end guests of Mr and Mrs. Russel Force, of 616 Pond Street. Mr. Jacob Scheisser ,of Philadel phia, spent the week-end with his sister, Mrs. Frank Hibbs, of 612 Pond Street. Miss Dorothy Warner, of 320 Lafayette Street has returned to her home after a two weeks visit with her sister at Chester. Mrs. Jacob Schusser, of Philadel phia, has returned to her home after spending a week with her mother, Mrs. Robert Hetherington, 312 Wood Street, Mrs. T. M. Neilson and three chil dren, all of Detroit, Mich., are spend ing three months with Mr. and Mrs. Adam Smith. St. James will hold a social and sale in the Parish House on July 30th. The Men’s Club of Edgely, and their families, will hold an outing at Florence Heights on August 13th. Mrs. Alpheus Peterson, of Edgely, who has been ill for some time, is convalescing. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Force, of Burl ington, spent last week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Schofield, of Edge ly Pike. Mrs. William O' Dea and two children, of Edgely, are spending a month in Plainfield, N. J. Misses Ruth and Helen Schmidt and Master Horace, of Otter Street, leave tomorrow for a week's enjoy ment at Asbury Park. Misses Agnes and Mary Larrissy, of Pine Street, left on Wednesday to cvn Visit with friends in Wildwood Miss Veronica Dugan ,of 706 Car son Street leaves tomorrow to spend a week with friends in Germantown. Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Elias and son, spent last weekend at Ventnor, N. J. visiting relatives through the West, and Hawaii, is expected daily to re turn. Miss Betty Koehler of Collings wood, spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs. John P. Betz. Miss Florence Schmidt and Miss Dorothy Souers, both of New Phila delphia, are spending ten days with Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Elias of 503 Rad cliffe Street. Miss Florence McCarry of Pine Street, left on Tuesday to spend the remainder of the summer with rela tives in Brooklyn. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dalton, of 443 Jefferson Avenue, left on Wed nesday to spend a week at Atlantic City. Miss Eva Solladay and Miss Emma Druckenmiller, both of Sellersville, are spending ten days at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Hanford, of 237 Radcliffe Street. Mrs. Cyrus Van Horn, of Lansdale, and Mrs. William Sickles, of Morris ville, spent the week end with their niece, Mrs. Louise Tomlinson, of 804 Mansion Street. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Boyd and daughter, Miss Elizabeth, and niece, Miss Mary Friel, all of 925 Beaver Street, will motor on Sunday to As bury Park. On Monday, Mr. and Mrs. Boyd will go to Paterson, N. J., to spend a week with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. John C. Tomlinson, who return on July 31st to her home after an eight weeks’ visit to their two sons at Upland. Miss Marian Rogers, of 800 Man sion Street, is spending two weeks with her aunt in Edgely. Miss Frances Thompson, of 811 Pine Street, spent the week end at Clifton Heights. Miss Sarah Lake of 232 Buckley Street, has returned from a three days visit with friends at Tacony. Miss Mary Kessinger, of Swain Street, who holds a position in At lantic City, spent a few days recent ly with her parents. Mrs. Louis Townsend and two children, of Mansion Street, spent three days last week with Mrs. Townsend's sister, in Edgely. Miss Jane Thomas, of Philadel phia, is making a visit with Miss Louise Lawrence, of Radcliffe Street. Miss Mary Jones of Philadelphia, and Miss Evelyn Tomlinson, of Eliza beth, N. J., will spend the week end with Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Bevan, of Dorrance Street. Mrs. Ann Williams, of Philadel phia, is spending a few weeks with her son, Mr. Albert Williams of 928 Jefferson Avenue. Mr. and Mrs. Elwood G. Minster, of Radcliffe Street, spent two days this week in Philadelphia, enjoying the companionship of some friends from Carlisle. Miss Helen McCauley, of Mauch Church, is spending a week with her aunt, Mrs. H. Peoples, of 703 Carson Street. Miss Nellie Peoples will re turn with her to spend the remain der of the summer. Miss Florence Parkinson, of Cas ton, who has been spending two weeks with her aunt, Miss Katherine Parkinson, of 705 Cerson Street, has returned to her home. C. Thomas Orr, real estate broker, reports the sale of property No. 1629 Swain Street, Philadelphia, for Mr. John Dee to Catherine Judge of 1620 Latimer Street, Philadelphia, consideration $4,000. Misses Elizabeth and Louise Wright, of Somerville, are spending five or six days with their cousin, Miss Louise Lawrence, 338 Radcliffe Street. Mrs. Leon Hess, of Philadelphia, was a recent guest for four days with her son, M. L. Hess, of 238 Mill Street.
