HAS SUN STROKEOvercome By Heat While PuttingUp Hay Tuesday Afternoon.Now Much Improved.Tuesday afternoon about 3o’clock while putting up hay on the Ed Conrad farm West of townJerald Lawton was overcome withwagon at the time and had previously been warned bv his fellowand it took the combined efforts of three men to hold him and remove him to the shade. A physician was called and a short timeafter he was taken to the home ot his mother, Mrs. Ed Little 2 miles north of town. About 1 o’clock Wednesday morning a decided change came for the better and he is now well on the road to recov-pa\viisF.Sithe heat. He was working on a orworkman not to work so hard as ! P1the dav was unusuallv hot.The warning was not heeded and a short time after he fell from the waeron. He suffered intenselyerv.•sFor several months in the past he had conducted a photograph gallery at Jamestown but had recently closed out his business therewith the expectation of going to Kansas. However he had decided to spend a couple of weeks at home and it is thought his not being accustomed to the excessive heat was the cause of the stroke.s-\
