Thad J. Earl, M.D., and two of his associates have moved here from Defiance, Ohio, and have established a medical prac tice in the former offices of the Austin Clinic at Second St, and Main St, Dr. Earl will be assisted by Miss Nancy J. Hoffman, K.N., and Dr. J. T. Harmonde, D.V.M., both of whom are physicians’ assistants. After more than 16 years in medical practice in Defiance, Dr. Farr decided to moved to this part of the country due to weather and environmental con ditions and chose Lordsburg be cause of its need for medical services. He is a graduate of the Uni versity of Michigan Medical School and has done post grad uate work in obstetrics, gyne cology, pediatrics and cardiol ogy. Recently Dr. Earl and Dr. Raimonde took a course in rad iology and Miss Hoffman took a course in emergency room medicine at the University of New Mexico Medical School. A new laboratory has been installed with much new equip ment at the Hidalgo General Hos pital under the direction of Dr. Earl. Lyle Harrington, formerly head of the laboratory at DCMC Hospital in Albuquerque, has been employed as laboratory techni cian, Dr. Earl and his wife, Stella who is a registered medical tech nologist, have five children, Susan, Kathleen, Jeffrey, Daniel and Doreen. Mrs. Earl and the children will move here in four to six weeks when their home being built in Glen Acres is completed. Dr. Raimonde’s wife, Lonnie, is a registered nurse and they have four children, Jay, Jim, Lisa and John. Their moving plans are indefinite at this time. Miss Hoffman is also having a home being built in Glen Acres. Dr. Earl has just returned from San Francisco where he deliver ed a paper on intrauterine con traception to the convention of the American Medical Assn.3
