Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Hanna and 3 children of Vancouver visit ed with their cousin Mrs. Alf Long, Mr. Long and family en route to P.E.I. for a vacation. Mr. and Mrs. R. Maddeaux have moved from Toronto to 223 Elmore’ Drive with their young child. Mr. Maddeaux works In Woodbridge. Dr. and Mrs. Gordon Bonar of Deloraine, Manitoba, are vis iting with Mr. and Mrs., Mac Sprowl of R.A. 4 Acton this past week. Mrs. Bonar is a cousin of Mr. Sprowl. _Mrs. Michael Poirier, St. Johns, Newfoundland, and five children are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Her‘nan Bessem, No. 7 highway. Mrs. Poirier lived in Acton for some time. Scouters from Blue Springs reserve were in town attending church Sunday, and among then was former Acton O.P.P. Cons. Ron Rupert, who met former friends. High school teachers aren't getting far away from their profession during the summer vacation. Three are marking grade ‘13 exam papers in’ Tor onto, Mrs.” Marion Reed, Bill Coates and Joe Bray. Miss El izabeth Atkey is recreational summer program director in Acton. Paul Martindale is tak ing a special geography course at McGill University, and Pat Sullivan is taking a course at Waterloo University. Attending courses at Ontario College of Education in Toronto are Miss Carla __Vandergrift, Mrs. __D. Huniken, Mrs. Hargit, Laszlo, Brute Andrews and C. L. Rogn valdsan. eilS.
