We mast admit that much damage has been done by high water and hail but there will be a wheat crop this fall that will restore confidence in the town and country tributary. From all sections come reports of bumpercrops and as we go to press itlooks as though we were to have some settled weather. A visit to the I. R. Munson and Carl Noble fields of winter wheat will leave you wondering which will take the Summer 'Ullage Club blue ribbon. George Maddox also has a beautiful field of wheatVery few are worrying about grasshoppers for there is so much green stuff bordering the fields and the grass is so deep and thick it will keep them busy until the crop is ready to harvest Haying is again in full swing though help is very scarce. A bumper second crop of alfalfa is also as-surred. A few fields of oats have lodged from moisture and intensely heavy growth.
