Luvert Listenbee, served as former Ford Heights mayorLuvert Listenbee, a resident and former mayor of Ford Heights, died Monday, July 8, in Rich ton ParkA service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First Union Missionary Baptist Church, Ford Heights, with the Rev.William Jenkins officiating. Interment will be in Washington Memory Gardens, Homewood.Visitation will be Friday from 2 to 6 p.m. at Robert McCullough Funeral Home, Ford Heights, and again Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of service at the church.Mr. Listenbee was born Aug. 12, 1917, in Pontotoc, Miss. He was employed with the Cook County Highway Dept.; and served as the mayor in Ford Heights from 1961 to 1973.He is survived bv seven daughters, Yoyadah of Israel, Bobbie Smith, Dorothy Powell and Beverly Johnson, all of Chicago, Joyce Bennett and Sandra Green, both of Chicago Heights and Gloria Moody of Park Forest; a son, Frank of Waukegan; a sister, Dovie Samuels of Bellwood; and 28 grandchildren.Y#Listenbe*
