“WARNING”To Whom This May Concern:-Realizing the danger that is confronting the citizens of Coke County through an influx of transient families moving into our county from the larger cities and after Six (6) Months residence in Coke County they become the responsibility of Coke County in supplying work and food.I take tlvis step with the hope that citizens who need anyone to work to endeavor to hire local help thereby giving the local man work and at the same time keeping out of our county families tha t will later become a burden to our financial setup.I would further suggest that people who have lots to sell in Bronte and Robert Lee refrain from selling these lots to Mexicans or white families who merely come into our county in order to get on relief.\ * ~fi * ' * •• * *• * • * | » i ‘In the past few months the situation that confronts Coke County has become very serious and the above two causes can be remedied if the people who areV.
