NELL PICKERELL 16 ARRESTED ON CHARGE WHICH PROSE CUTING ATTORNEY DOESN'T MAKE PUBLIC The notorious Nell Pickerell le im jal! agein. Masquerading as a boy, calling herself Harry Livina #ten, and roafing around saloons, she has caused so much trouble and annoyance to the authorities that they have been obliged to cause her arrest. Back of the simple charge of vagrancy, upon which the gir was arrested, there is a more seri ous one, which Prosecuting Attor ney Mackintosh wishes to suppress for the present. The girl was brought before Jus tice Gordon yesterday afternoon, and, after stating the conditions of the case, Deputy Prosecuting At torney Vandeveer asked that the maximum bail be exacted, and Jus tice Gordon accordingly st the amount at $2,000. Attorney Wess ener, representing the girl, object ed to the bail as prohibitive, but the objection was overruled. The girl has been convicted of several misdemeanors.
