Garig is the ITe-siding Minister of the Jehovah’s Witnesses, a group of 24 ministers, located at 1201 North Oth.for over 20 years. This is a school of continual teaching and learning which all Jehovah’s Witnesses — men and women, young and old, attend each week.Mr. (.arig is the son of Mrs. Mary II. Garig of CastroValley, Calif.; and he and his wife live at 008 North \ve-nue K. Raised in Oakland, t alif., where he attended school, Mr. (.arig stated he has been in the weekly Theocratic Ministry SchoolMr. Garig has been the Presiding Minister in Hayward, Calif., for about five years and then in \ntioch, Calif, for a year. In 1958 the Gang’s came to I^imesa where a congregation was established in 19 59.He stated the church has three annual conventions each year which are teaching and training seminars held in various towns that he enjoys attending. hi addition he likes to go to the summer assemblies.Mrs. Garig was raised in Nebraska and went to school there in addition to a year of college. She taught school in Nebraska for a few years and then moved to Californiawhere she met and married her husband. She enjoys collecting rocks, plants, shells, and such like from the trips the two of them make each year.Wednesday through Sunday of this past week R. A. Mc-Carroll from the Watchtower Society Headquarters has been visiting in this area and making daily home visits. He will speak today on the subject — “Is The Truth TransformingYour Life?”MR. K MRS.
