News of another family tragedy reached Nampa relatives of the late Retta Martin yesterday, three months to the day from the ‘Heath of Miss Martin, Democratic candidate for state school superintendent. In an automo bile accident between Pocatello and Idaho Falls. er brother H. E. Martin of Nampa, Sunday received news of the death of @ younger brother, William R. Martin, in a gas-filled room in Los Angeles and departed immediately for the Califor nia city. _ Young Martin had just rented the house for himself and widowed sis ter, and had gone with a friend, whose name was not learned, to fix it up last Friday night. The two young men de cided to sleep in the house that night, and a# leaky gas pipe caused their deaths. Another brother Stewart Martin, went Sunday to investigate, having heard nothing from William since Fri dday. He found both youths dead in a gas filled bedroom.
