CHITTRENANGO . Edward L. Coon, 84, of 7131 Bolivar Road, died Tuesday at Veterans Administra tion Hospital, Syracuse, after a long illness. Mr. Coon was a life resident of Chittenango. He was a graduate of the Chicago School of Commerce. Mr. Coon retired after 26 years as the postmaster of the Chittenango Post Office. He had been with the US. Postal Service 42 years. Mr. Coon was a member of United Methodist Church of Chittenango. A bugler with the Army during World War I, Mr. Cook was a vet eran of the Battle of Chateau
