AUBURN (AP) — Two Lewis ton men were indicted for mur der yesterday by an Androscog gin County Grand Jury They are Joseph A.Blackie Levesque, a 37-year-old parolee charged with the stabbing of Mrs. Marguerite Couture, and Vincent E. Duguay, 49, also a former State Prison inmate, who is ac cused of shooting Mrs. Annette Cross, a West Minor divorcee. Levesque is alleged to have slashed Mrs. Couture, 37, in her bed Dec. 13 while her husband, Maurice, and their two children slept in other bedrooms. Police quoted him as saying he pulled a knife from his pocket when Mrs. Couture rejected his love making. Levesque was released last fall after serving 715 years of a 10-20 year sentence for manslaughter in the fatal beating of Alfred Bol due with whom he shared a one room shack. He is presently un der mental observation at Augus ta State Hospital. Duguay, who served time at Thomaston for forgery, allegedly shot Mrs. Cross in the head Dec. 29 during an argument in the apartment they had shared. Mrs. Cross’ 6-year-old daughter slept through the incident. The victim died of the bullet wound last Friday. Duguay was quoted by police as saying he “just wanted e hurt her, not necessarily kill er.
