Lubbock Gem and Mineral So ciety will plan projects for the coming year at its first meeting for 1963 at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Slide Road Clubhouse, W. 50th St. near Slide Rd. Persons who are interested in rocks are invited to attend. Re freshments will be served and a door prize will be given. Officers of the society are W. E. Foster, Rt. 1, Ropesville, presi dent; Bruce Bryan, 1904 Main St., vice president; Miss Bula Beard, Rt. 6, Lubbock, secretary, and E. G. White, 2715 53rd St., treas urer.
