WELL KNOWN PIONEEROF NEW MEXICO DEADColorado Springs Gazette of December 24th, 1909—The funeral of W. H. McBroom, 9 i 4 North Corona street, who died yesterday morning was held from the residence this afternoon at 2:30 o’clock, the Rev. W. W. Ranney officiating. The interment was in Ever-%green cemetery.Mr. McBroom was a well known ranchman of I his county, formerly a civil engineer for the government and one of the pioneers of New Mexico. He had lived in this county for 20 years and owned large ranch interests north of the city lie was 0 1 years old and is survived by a widow, Mrs. Mary J. McBroom, two sons, Paul and dive and a daughter Mary. Mr. McBroom was a prominent Mason, belonging to the Santa Fe, N- M. lodge.
