Upchurch Family Reunion.On the last day of the old year, December 31st, Mr. I. S. Upchurch, who lives on the Wake and Chatham county lines, celebrated hi3 84th birthday. On this date a family reunion was held, which will long be remembered. Out of eleven children, ten were present, and forty out of forty-nine grandchildren were also on hand. These, including i the husbands and wives of the j children and grandchildren, footed up a total of 84 present out of (106.Mr. Upchurch married Miss Lillie Beavers, December 23, 1857. She died about fifteenyears ago. Of this union there were thirteen children, eleven of whom are still living. Something like six years ago he mar-; ried Mrs. Watson, who still survives.Each of the many families car-| ried a basket of good things to eat and the contents were spread upon the lawn. The planks from which the table was constructedwere sawed fifty years ago. They are seventeen inches wide, and are in a state of perfect preservation.
