Mrs, John Watson died this morning, aged 76 years. She had been failing for 2 or 3 years and was very weak and emaciated. She was an old resident, having lived near here for a number of years before moving to town 18 years ago. The funeral will be from the house Thursday, Rev. Bryan officiating. She leaves beside her aged husband two sons, Mr. Jas. N. Watson, Sioux City, John H. Watson, living in Al-den township, Hardin county, Mrs. Mary Fields near Chicago, Ills., Mrs. Nellie Sparks,. Bancroft, la., and Miss Florence Bainbridge of Williams. The children were all here during her sickness and death.Dec. 31.
