Beisei had occasion to visit Milton Minnick’s home a few days ago and becoming absent-minded placed his lighted pipe in his coait pocket when he entered the house. In less tine than it takes to tell William’s dry cotton clothing was ablaze and he made for the door to take a roll in ihe snow, but the wind fanned the blaze and made matters worse. S. M. Woodring and Abe Leibenguth took in the situation at a glance and grabbing two pails of cider from the table dashed the contents over the victim and extinguished the flames.
