He was born at Remvick on January 26, 1904, the son of Millard and Nina Rash, •k He was married to Violet Har-le renstein of Greene on December 5 20, 1935. Surviving are his wife; J one son, Melvm, at Fort Leonard *e Wood, Missouri; one daughter, )e Mrs. Gwenyth Schrage of Allison;his mother, Mrs, Nina Eikenberry js of Charles City; one half-brother, -jn Lieutenant Commander John ,{. Smith of California; one half-sis-ter. Mrs. Everett Squires of Greene; three grandchildren, LCj Steve. Mark and Dawn Schrage. Funer.il services are being held this afternoon, Wednesday, at 2 1C o'clock at Hamilton’s Funeral d. Chapel. Burial will be held in ill Hose Hill Cemetery.^r -
