THE LIFE STORY OF —Olga Reyelt, 96Olga Reyelt, daughter of Adolph and Maren Ebbesen Reyelt was bom Feb. 18, 1889 at Shelby. She moved to Harlan at an early age, where she attended school and graduated from Harlan high school.She was employed at the Harlan Tribune for over 42 years and retired in Dec., 1963 In 1965 she received the Harlan Chamber of Commerce Leadership Award She was active in the American legion Auxiliary'; the Helmer Reyelt Post was named for her brotherShe was an active member of the St. Paul’s Episcopal church where she was currently secretary of the women s Guild and had served on the Bishop s Committee She was a member of the Alpha Delphian Society and had been an avid golfer She died Feb 1, 1986 at Myrtue Memorial hospital at age 96 years, 11 months and 13 days.She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: Alfred and Helmer; two sisters: Dana Friend and Norma Ruby. Survivors include a niece, Joanne Ouren of Harlan; nephew, James R Friend nf Tabernash, Colo, and otherrelative*Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 4,1906 at St Paul’s Episcopal church with Rev. Glenn Rankin officiating. Burial was in the Harlan cemetery with Tom Ouren, Greg Ouren, Keith More, I*o Mores, H W Ouren and Fred Louis serving as pallbearers.Services were conducted by Burmeister Funeral Home.
