The Gasniers “cut ice’ in the big specialty show at Austin Stone's yes terday with their world-famous “Samson and His Sister” feats. M. Gasnier holds the records as the champion strong man of the world and his exhibition in the curb hall yesterday satisfied everybody who saw him that he was entitled to that honor. Mme. Gasnier, the perfect woman, amazed her audiences with her wonderful feats of strength. She made good in a half-dozen advertised stunts. A score of other attractions included Leah May, the tallest woman in the world; Grace Gilbert, the bearded lady; Leroysiders, the physical grace illus trators; _Birchman, the apt cartoonist; McKeown, the armless carpenter; Ben Hur, the monster snake, now feeding. The lively ‘Manhattan Girls” were the big hit of the theatre shows. Musical features in this rollicking presentation were “I Want You to be My Honey,” by May Stemple; “Every Little Bit,” by the Olive sisters; “So What's the Use,” by Dorothy Norton; “Keep on Smiling,” by Fanny Wilson; “Won't You be My Little Brown Bear?” by Cecil, Gray, and “Kitty Moore,” by Miss Olive and chorus. Other applause winners on the list were the Meadows comedy company in “The Man That Looks Like Me,” Norma Phara in illustrated songs, Fine and Dazy in a high-class novelty, new moving pictures, Graham and Dawson, the comedy duo, and Theillette in mon ologues.
