Services for Mrs. Bessie Belle Cradduck, 84, 600 S. Johnston, I are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thurs- ‘ day in the Rinard Chapel of the First Baptist Church.The Rev. Dickson Rial will conduct the rites.Mrs. Cradduck died today in a local hospital.She was born, Feb. 23. 1889, j in Pike County, 111., to Joseph and Margaret Miller Waite.She moved to Oklahoma in 1913 and was employed by the Bell Telephone Co. and the Conservative Loan Co., Shawnee. and the Adjutant General’s Office, Oklahoma City, during World W’ar I.She was employed by Cowling Carpenter’s Real Estate Office when she came to Ada in 1*20.On Oct. 20, 1920. she married John E. Cradduck. He died here in 1943.Mrs. Cradduck was an active member of the First Baptist Church and of the Eastern Star. Her other club activities included the Lakeside Acres Home Demonstration Club. Marigold Unit of the Ada Garden Club and W'oodmen of the World Lodge.Cradduck Rd. was named after the family and their home is still a landmark on Hwv. 3.VThey had holdings in the Fitts-field Oil wells.Survivors include three sons. Alvin, Calvin and Hailey Cradduck, all of Ada; one brother, Wesley P. Waite, Griggsville, 111.; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery.■ .. . — . —-
