$30,000 For Boite-Yellowttone HighwaySenator Brady has Introduced Id thlt;* Unitod States Sonate an amendment to the Department ‘of Agriculture Appropriation Bill now pending, which provides for the sum of $30,-000 for the purpose tf constructing through tho Targhee National Forest, from Warm River to Yellowstone near the entrance to the park, a distance ‘of sixty-three and one-half miles of wagon road as an extension of the highway from Boise to Yellowstone National Park.Tho ..road will run parallel to the right-of-way 'of the Oregon Short Line Railway through. Bonneville. Jefferson, Madison and Fremont counties and must necessarily follow tho railway through the Targhee Forest to the park, this being the most feasble and practical route.The main obstacle to those traveling to the greatest wonder in America today, is th^ poorly constructed roads through this forest reserve.Tho State of Idaho has appropriated $10,000 to pay the expense of surveying and locating the highway and the different counties have at considerable expense built fairly well constructed roads through their respective territories and are willing to complete the highway in donnqcUou
