► j jYOTICE.TO Reuben Mellon, known heir of the estate of John Melton, deceased, late of Clay county, Indiana,—You are hereby notified tlutt I shall aputy to the next Probate Court of said counLy, on the second Mon-1 : day of February, 1840, to be hofdan at the Court House in the town of I 1 ; Dowling Green, to appoint three disinterested freeholders in said county, j not related to either party, to make partition Ijeiween us, of all and sin- j ' ’ gutar the land of which Um said John Melton died seized, lying and be-: } , fug in the said county of Clay, 1 having William Melton, Elizabeth Mel-j ton, Isaac Melton, John Melton, Randle Melton, Elijah Melton, Watson Melton, Lrtsey Jones and John Jones her husband, formerly Letaey Melton, Amelia Oaks and Laddy Oaks her husband, formerly Amelia MeHon, and all the heirs of Charles Allen and Nancy Allen, deceased, formerly Nancy Melton, and all the heirs of Ilezekiah Burchfield, and Jane Burchfield, decensed, formerly Jane Melton, and Leannah MeHon, heirs at law of the said John Melton, deceased,—part by deed in fee simple of all tlieir right, title, interest and claims to all their units of the real and personal estate of the said John Melton, deeeaaednd which time you may attend if you think proper.
