There is an old, old story That is told to you and me of the Christ child born of glory In the land of Galilee. He was born of Virgin Mary In.a manger full of hay And people came to tarry To watch the babe where he lay. Three Wise Men saw a shining star and followed where it lead. ‘To see the Christ Child, ‘born afar In the manger for a bed. They came unto the stable old In the outskirts of the town And there they brought gifts of gold And gave to the babe they found. ‘Shepherds from the distant hill Could see the eastern light They left their flocks to eat their fill ‘And hurried toward the East that night.
