WHERE MONEY TALKS (Allison Tribune) Louis Murphy files a statement of, the expense of his successful campaign for Unit ed States Senator. He states he spent $4, 643.50 of his own money, that $1,000 was contributed by the association opposed to prohibition and other contributions of over $5,000. Even Senator Brookhart lessened up to the extent of $1,929.80, trying to keep himself on the payroll. It certainly takes a long purse to put one very far on the poli tical highways under our present election machinery.
