Mrs. Walter H. Laird Services Held FridayALDEN—Mrs. Walter Hugh Laird, who died at 6:20 p.m., Dec. 9, at Ellsworth Hospital, was born at Palo, 111. in 1^90 to George and Margaret Abies. Jam 11, 1910 at the Methodist parsonage in Alderi, Lillian Mae was I united in marriage with Walter Hugh Laird who survives her.Mrs. Laird was a member of the Methodist church. Rev. Raymon A. Roloff conducted the funeral services held at the Scott Funeral Home Friday, Dec. 12 at 2 p.m.Two brothers and two sisters pre-ceeded Mrs. Laird in {i§ath. Surviving are 3 children, Aileen E. Colbornson— Marengo, Denzal Hugh Laird—Alden, Margaret M. Haydock also of Alden; 2 granddaughters, Doris Elaine Colbornson — Iowa City, Jean ,Marie Laird of Alden; 2 brothers Herman Abies—Alden and George Abies of Randle, Wash.; also 3 sisters Mrs. J. M. Ocker—Warren, III., Mrs. Carrie Halan—Alden, and Martha Dodd.
