Mrs. Walter H. Laird Services Held FridayALDEN—Mrs. Walter Hugh Laird, who died at 6:20 p.m., Dec. 9, at Ellsworth Hospital, was born at Palo, 111. in 180 to George and Margaret Abies. Jan. 11, 1910 at the Methodist parsonage in Aldeii, Lillian Mae was united in marriage with Walter Hugh Laird who survives her.Mrs. Laird was a member of the Methodist church. Rev. Raymon A. Roloff conducted the funeral services held at the Scott Funeral Home Friday, Dec. 12 at 2 p.m.Two brothers and two sisters pre-ceeded Mrs. Laird in dgath. Surviving are 3 children, Aileen E. Colbornson— 'Marengo, Denzal Hugh Laird—Alden, Margaret M. Haydock also of Alden; 2 granddaughters, Doris Elaine Colbornson — Iowa City, Jean .Marie Laird of Alden; 2 brothers Herman Abies—Alden and George Abies of Randle, Wash.; also 3 sisters Mrs. J. M. Ocker—Warren, III., Mrs. Carrie Halan—Alden, and Martha Dodd.
