Goodbye liberalIN COMMENTING ON the recent death ofDenver millionaire and philantrophist, Charles F. Kettering II. it is very, very difficult to keep from being sacrilegious, but it was ironic that the man who saw fit to provide wholesale bail monies for an organized Chicago street gang, actively engaged in death and destruction; should himself be killed as he saw to provide help to an injured dog. He died as he lived. The black community will never forget this man who subsequently proved to be one of the major supporters of black-on-black crime in Chicago’s black community. His pay-offs in the form of ‘bail-monies for poor black boys deprived of due process,’ probably went further than any other single act to encourage a disrespect for the law and the rights of others, by teen-age thugs. He lived as he died.KETTERING, LIKE so many other liberal whites, was willing to contribute to the already sick and injured, but simply refused to aid the healthy remain that way. Many whites still make a big play out of helping the youth who has already run afoul of the law of respect instead of going to the source, the child who has tried and is continuing to respect the rights of others. He lived as he died._ _ Jeff Fort, who during the Kettering Hand-Out era, often drove around in his new car, with as mwtk4ft3,000 in his pocket; must be crying his; cgt^t Mr. Kettering’s death. The cut-off of » the KeUfipng monies led to an almost im-1 rod incarceration of both FortvKl if frfr top agents, Charles Kettering ilwilLbg long remembered in Chicago. He lived as he died.
