150 Names Included. Instructions in Event Of Attack Are Given A list of more than 150 air raid wardens for all buildings under the District Government has been drawn and instructions have been given them on what to do in the event of a raid, ‘HO. Akers, superintendent of the East Administration Building, hous ing police headquarters, other Dis trict workers and some 1,700 War Department employes, is deputy warden in general charge of the group. His assistants are Capt. C. 5. Peterson, of the Fire Department, and James C. Bailey, Jr., chief elec trician for the District Government buildings. Zone and sector wardens and wardens for the various struc tures are included in the list, Exit Signs Placed. Exit signs, in the form of large ar rows with the wording “exit” were placed in the various structures yes terday to aid in showing persons how to get out of buildings. The wardens’ duties will include guiding persons to exits and places of safety during air raids. Meanwhile, the enginering force has been instructed to cut off steam from pipes leading into buildings and to throw switches for blackouts.
