He has not attended school since that time, and during the past month has beeu delirious. He has also exhibited symptoms of hydrophobia, displayed in biting the bed clothes, etc. At times he is not able to recognize anybody, and his malady seems to be beyond the reach of medical skill. The trouble seems to date from the blow upon his head, but some of the school children insist that about, the same time he was bitten by a dog. He, however, never stated to the family that be had beeu bitten. Duriug the past two years there has been a great deal of sickness in the Elstner family, and during that time they seem to have been subjected to more than their share of worldly affliction.
